Commission Process
Initial Meeting
Our journey together begins with a conversation. I want to understand your vision, your inspiration, and what makes your idea uniquely special to you. By sharing your preferences and desires, we can embark on this creative adventure together. Feel free to reference some of my previous works that resonate with you; this will help me visualize the perfect details for your piece. Whether we meet in person or virtually via video call, your comfort is my priority.
Written Agreement
Once we've outlined the details of your project, I'll compile the essential information in a clear written agreement. This document will cover important aspects like size, materials, pricing, payment terms, and framing options. You'll also receive an estimated timeline, ensuring that you know exactly what to expect. With your signature on this agreement, I'll be ready to bring your vision to life.
Small Study Approval
For larger artworks (exceeding 18x24 inches), I'll create a preliminary sketch or digital mockup to help you envision the colors and composition of the final piece. At this stage, your input is invaluable in ensuring that the finished artwork aligns perfectly with your vision. Once you've approved the small study, I'll begin crafting the final artwork.
Final Reveal
The most exciting part of the process is the final reveal! Your completed artwork will be hand-delivered or carefully shipped to your location. Alternatively, you can choose to pick it up in person at my studio in Vass, NC. To fully appreciate the art's true colors and intricate details, I recommend unveiling it in good lighting.
