Practicing Mindful Craftsmanship
Every work from Larissa Ann’s studio begins with a commitment to excellence—from sourcing the finest materials to using traditional techniques that ensure lasting beauty. Whether it’s an original oil painting, a silk scarf, or a woven tapestry blanket, each piece is designed for longevity, beauty, and heirloom value.
Our process follows museum-level best practices: archival surfaces, professional pigments, and meticulous finishing to preserve color, detail, and integrity over time. And because how something is made matters as much as what it becomes, we partner exclusively with responsible, ethical vendors based in the USA, Canada, and France—craftspeople who share our values of quality, artistry, and sustainability.
The Art of Our Materials
Woven Tapestry Blankets
Created in partnership with a family-owned mill in North Carolina, our tapestry blankets are woven from soft, durable cotton yarns. The process combines time-honored weaving traditions with modern craftsmanship, resulting in a weighty, artful piece designed to be cherished for years.
Pewter Ornaments
Hand-cast in Vermont, each pewter ornament begins as an original design before being carefully sculpted and finished by artisans. The result is a collectible keepsake that celebrates equestrian heritage and fine craftsmanship.
Silk Scarves & Custom Printed Bags
We work with a trusted Canadian partner to produce our silk scarves and select custom bags. Printed using eco-conscious inks and methods, each piece captures the vibrancy of Larissa Ann’s original paintings while honoring the luxurious feel of natural fibers.
Original Paintings
Whether painted in oils, acrylics, or watercolor, Larissa Ann works exclusively on archival-grade surfaces—100% cotton papers, stretched canvases, or rigid wooden panels—selected for both their beauty and durability. Traditional artmaking techniques ensure that each brushstroke will stand the test of time.
Fine Art Prints
Our prints are produced by a professional fine art studio in Texas to museum standards. Printed on 100% cotton papers and archival substrates with pigment-based inks, they capture every nuance of the original artwork for the highest quality reproductions.
Surfaces & Techniques
Canvas – The Timeless Classic
Ideal for oil and acrylic paintings, our cotton and linen canvases offer a rich, textured surface that enhances depth and dimension while remaining durable and lightweight.
Paper – A Delicate Elegance
We use 100% cotton watercolor papers in both hot-pressed (smooth) and cold-pressed (textured) finishes. These archival papers provide the ideal surface for water-based media and ensure your artwork maintains its brilliance for generations.
Wood – A Contemporary Choice
Perfect for acrylics and oils, wood panels provide a smooth, sturdy surface resistant to punctures. They are ideal for intricate details and can be displayed framed or unframed for a modern aesthetic.
Pigments & Lightfastness
Color longevity is non-negotiable. Larissa Ann selects professional-grade pigments with the highest lightfastness ratings (I and II), ensuring they remain vibrant for decades without fading.
Framing & Protection
We recommend archival-quality framing materials, acid-free mats, and UV-protective glass or acrylic to shield your artwork from environmental damage while enhancing its presentation.
Responsible & Ethical Sourcing
Every material is chosen with care—for its quality, longevity, and the integrity of its origin. Our partners in the USA, Canada, and France share our commitment to sustainability, fair labor practices, and exceptional craftsmanship.
By combining mindful sourcing with timeless design, Larissa Ann’s work offers collectors art and heirloom-quality pieces that honor both their stories and the planet.
