Our Story | Larissa Ann Fine Art

For Those Who Dare to Dream

I’m Larissa Ann — artist, rider, and storyteller. My work celebrates the quiet, powerful moments shared between humans, horses, and the landscape. From original horse paintings and limited fine art prints to bespoke live painting and luxury collaborations, everything I make is rooted in craft, care, and connection.

About Larissa — A Path of Purpose

My artistic path is shaped by a lifetime of horses and a over a decade of military service. The discipline and perspective I gained in the military gave me the courage to return to art and build a practice around the things I love: horses, nature, and honest storytelling. Each piece I create is an invitation to slow down, notice the details, and carry a meaningful story into your home.

My work is an invitation—to dream bigger, leap farther, and notice the small wonders that move us.

A Signature Style—And a Winged Horse

You’ll see a winged horse appear throughout my work—it’s become a personal emblem of courage. My palette draws from the arena and the landscape: luminous neutrals, tactile blacks and bays, flashes of cardinal red, and the quiet blues of early morning rides. I favor archival surfaces and time-honored techniques to ensure each piece is as lasting as the stories it tells.

Projects & Milestone Highlights

I’m grateful for projects that have shaped my voice and deepened my practice. Some of my favorites include:

  • Sergeant Reckless — a life-size painted horse tribute honoring Gold Star families and a legendary Korean War horse who served with the U.S. Marine Corps.

  • Artist in Residence, Carolina International CCI & Horse Trial — live painting and community-focused exhibitions.

  • Painted saddles for the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event, created and signed for charity auctions.

Collectively these collaborations and events have helped raise meaningful funds for nonprofits and connected my work to audiences nationwide.

What I Make

  • Original Equestrian Paintings — oil, acrylic, and gouache, crafted on archival surfaces.

  • Custom Horse Portraits & Commissions — bespoke work for homes, barns, and collectors.

  • Fine Art Prints & Limited Editions — museum-quality reproductions on 100% cotton paper.

  • Art-Inspired Luxury Goods — silk scarves, woven textiles, and collectible ornaments created by had or with trusted partners.

  • Live Painting & Brand Collaborations — immersive experiences for events, fundraising, and product launches.

Studio Process & Materials

Every piece begins in my studio. I follow museum-level best practices—archival substrates, professional pigments with high lightfastness, and careful finishing—to ensure lasting beauty. My print editions are produced by a professional studio in Texas on 100% cotton paper. Scarves, blankets, and specialty goods are produced with vetted partners in the USA, Canada, and France, prioritizing quality and responsible sourcing.

Archival quality, considered materials, and trusted partners ensure each piece is made to last.

Philanthropy & Community

Giving back is integral to my practice. Through public artworks, auctions, and collaborations, I’ve supported equestrian nonprofits, veterans’ causes, and local arts organizations. I believe art can spark generosity—and real change—when shared with purpose.

Work With Me

Whether you're seeking a custom horse portrait, a signature painting for your home, or an immersive live-art experience for your event or brand, I’ll collaborate closely to bring your vision to life. My process is thorough, transparent, and tailored to discerning collectors and luxury partners.
