Artist’s Note

I am constantly inspired by animals' unique characters and expressions. I paint their portraits as if they were people, observing their features and body language. Foxes are never merely animals to me — they each have unique personalities. I imagined this fox as a gentleman seated for his portraits,  his own personality revealed in posture and gaze. His russet coats remind me of a classic tweed — timeless, distinguished, and undeniably charming.
